Additional Information

All visitors must have a valid Department of Defense issued identification card (CAC Card, Retiree ID Card or Dependent ID Card) to gain access to the installation. The Visitor's Center is located at 610 Farragut Ave, Great Lakes, IL 60088 and their hours fluctuate. Please check on line for their most up to date schedule. They are closed on Federal Holidays.

The Main Navy Exchange and Commissary are located off the installation at 2630 Green Bay Road, Great Lakes, IL 60088. The Student Store (NEX), food court, and gas station are located on base.
